The Vista at Chuckanut offers a 1-bedroom (1.5 bath) home with unobstructed, panoramic views of Chuckanut Bay and Dot Island. We are just 7 minutes to the Historic District of Fairhaven, 3 minutes to Larrabee State Park and the trail up to Fragrant Lake, 7 minutes to Taylor's Seafood (a justly famous retail seafood spot with crabs, oysters, mussels, clams, and restaurant), the Oyster Bar, and the Chuckanut Manor - all on Chuckanut Drive - and we're across the Drive from the Interurban trail.

The space
The house and the parking spot are on the sea side of Chuckanut Drive. Please note - important: as everywhere along this part of the Washington State coastline, there is a railroad track, in our case between between the house and the ocean. Trains will periodically go by. Our house is next door to the Airbnb, and the trains do not bother us anymore. We do provide ear plugs for guests, who might be bothered. The house has a large deck with views directly to the sea. The kitchen is well-equipped if you are inclined to cook. Note: We provide an extensive Guide to the region, and to the house and its amenities, in our Welcome Book, which will be placed on the big table as you enter.

Other things to note
Please note the following: (i) we ask you to remove shoes while in the house; (ii) we are near the train tracks, which some might find noisy when trains pass by; we provide ear plugs for those who are sensitive; (iii) the kitchen is well-equipped if you are inclined to cook.
